For my long-term career goal, I intend to work in international management consulting, focusing on planning for future directions, expansion of overseas markets, and negotiation with the partners of the strategic alliance. I strongly wish to achieve these objectives through the efficient use of my overseas long-term working experience, negotiation skills in strategic alliance, and the good connection that I establish at Marshal School of Business. With my great courage to confront challenges of any type and my constant learning, I will always strive to keep up with the fast-moving world to accomplish my life and career goals.

Dimension Co., Ltd. 是台灣代理Compaq 產品最大的代理商，長久以來，為能順利供應客戶的訂單，並享有大量採購所帶來的折扣，公司一直都超額訂貨且有存貨過多的問題。然而，電腦產品推陳出新，每一季都有降價促銷及新產品上市，造成這些剩餘存貨帳面價值( book value)損失，並侵蝕財務報表上的營收。
在對產品負責的情況下，我發現存貨管理儼然已是個大問題，若再不加以改善，會造成公司資金一直無法妥善運用。於是，我向我的上司毛遂自薦去解決這困擾已久的問題，並竭力說服管理階層採用在當時是非常先進的電子商務流程觀念來克服存貨問題。首先，我大膽地將安全庫存量依經驗法則降至三個星期（於日後再階段性降低），若遇緊急缺貨，則向其它代理商以專案採購，如此一來，大大地降低存貨量。另一方面，以電子流程處理訂貨、出貨，一切訊息在各端點皆可掌控。此創新方式不但加速了出貨速度，使各往來廠商滿意度提高；也同時減少公文往返及延誤的時間，因為都以相互連結的系統來處理。再來，憑藉著數字的改善，我向每一個部門進行說明以減少因變革所衍生的反抗態度。幸運地在上司的充份授權及同僚的配合下，成功地解決了存貨過多的問題，並增加公司的獲利達28% 並進一步準備上市。我也因此獲得了該年度”Best Employee of Dimension” 的殊榮。
Dimension Co., Ltd. is the biggest agent of Compaq Taiwan. The company has long enjoyed the discounts generated from mass purchase in its effort to smoothly supply the clients with their orders. Nonetheless, the company has always been confronted with excess orders and inventory. As computer products are constantly updated and replaced by the new ones, there is always price cutback and introduction of new products on the market in each season. Consequently, this causes the loss of the book value and the corrosion of the revenue on the financial report.
Responsible for product management, I found that the inventory problem was really a major issue. If improvement of the problem had not been not sought, it would have resulted in the company"s inability to properly utilize the capital. In view of this, I recommended myself to solve the problem that had long bothered the company. Aware of what to do, I strained to persuade the management level to adopt the e-commerce procedures to efficiently manage inventory, which was a concept of which was very advanced at that time to manage inventory issue. In the process of solving the problem, I first daringly lower the safe inventory to three months" period empirically– which was to be succeeded by subsequent stages of further decrease. If emergent short supply occurred, the company would implement a special-case purchase from other agencies. By so doing, the company would significantly decrease its amount of inventory. On the other hand, the implementation of the electronic procedures to deal with order placement and goods delivery would enable the company to control the entire information in each terminal. This novel approach not only accelerated the delivery of goods but also enhanced the satisfaction on the businesses" part and at the same time efficiently decreased the delivery time of documents and occurrence of delay as the electronic procedures processed through an interlinked system. Moreover, with the improved figures as a proof , I was able to persuade each department in the company to reduce their defensive attitude toward innovation. Luckily, facilitated by the full delegation from the superiors and cooperation from the colleagues, I successfully solved the overstock problem and increased the annual revenue about 28% to prepare for the company"s stocks to be listed. Out of this impressive work performance, I was granted the ”Best Employee of Dimension” award that year.

我畢業於台灣大學醫學系，在行政院衛生署桃園療養院（Tao-yuan Psychiatric Center, Department of Health, Executive Yuan）擔任司法精神醫學小組之召集人，台大醫院兼任主治醫師，目前是台大法律研究所碩士班之研究生。在從事實務工作過程中，我發現台灣近年來性暴力、家庭暴力之問題日益嚴重，不管加害人或被害人之處遇制度（disposition system）皆為法律與精神醫學之交界地帶，而且醫療糾紛案件隨著人民消費意識之提昇而日益增多，醫療行為模式亦因為全民健康保險法（Obligatory Medical Insurance Law）及其他相關醫事法令之修定而受到重大之衝擊。深處亂象中的我，對上述問題之迫切性與重要性十分瞭解，然卻發覺以一個臨床專家之知識及身分，並無法有效處理上述我所關切之問題。我認為從事上述問題之嚴格法學探討，並進行學術研究教育，提出解決方案，其重要性遠大於作為純粹之臨床專家。因為在台灣法學教育之科際整合（Interdisciplinary integration）之工作，仍不如美國，故報考國家公費留學考試，並取得全國唯一赴美國進修「醫事相關法律」之名額，希望投入學術研究作為我終身之職志，從法學領域對台灣目前之紛擾亂象提出解決之道。
I graduated from the Dept. of Medicine, National Taiwan University (NTU), and I am now concurrently convenor of the Forensic Psychiatric Medical Team in the Taoyuan Psychiatric Center (under the Dept. of Health, Executive Yuan) and part-time attending physician at NTU Hospital. I am also studying toward a master degree in the Institute of Law, NTU. In my practice, I have found that the problems of sexual violence and family violence in Taiwan have been becoming more serious in recent years. The disposition system for both victims and perpetrators marks the crossover region between the fields of law and psychiatric medicine, and I find myself squarely in this region. Meanwhile, with the rise of consumer consciousness, the number of medical malpractice suits is increasing. Physicians in Taiwan have also been greatly affected by the Obligatory Medical Insurance Law and the recent revision of other relevant laws.
Since I am in the midst of these changes, I thoroughly understand the urgency and importance of such issues. However, I feel that despite my clinical knowledge and status, I still cannot effectively handle the aforementioned problems that concern me. I think that doing legal research on these issues, teaching, and finding solutions would be far more important than working as a clinical specialist. Because Taiwan’s educational institutions have not proceeded as far as their American counterparts in the work of interdisciplinary integration, I took an examination to compete for a government fellowship for overseas study, and I was awarded Taiwan’s only fellowship for study in the US on “medicine-related law.” I hope to pursue a career of academic teaching and research to find legal solutions to the current chaotic situation in Taiwan.
